Sorrowful Mysteries | Rosary for Kids
The rosary comes in all shapes and sizes, and it’s a powerful way of praying that can bring us closer to Jesus. It is also meant for anybody, whether you are a grown-up or a kid. In addition to that, did you know that there are four sets of Mysteries for the Rosary? They are Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and the Luminous Mysteries. For today’s video, we have some special guests at Juice Box to help us learn about the second set of Mysteries, the Sorrowful Mysteries, and how we pray them through the Holy Rosary. The Sorrowful mysteries are:
- The Agony of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.
- The Scourging of Jesus at the Pillar.
- The Crowning of Jesus with Thorns.
- The Carrying of the Cross.
- The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus.
These mysteries can be sad, but Jesus endured all this suffering so we can be saved and be with him in Heaven. Come and pray with us!
