[00:01:16 --> 00:01:19] and her encounter with an evil, wicked dog.

[00:01:35 --> 00:01:37] You're walking through the dark hallways
[00:01:37 --> 00:01:42] with nothing but a faint glow of a candle guiding you.

[00:01:44 --> 00:01:47] Down at the end of a long, dark hallway,
[00:01:47 --> 00:01:52] you see a soft, warm light pouring out of a doorway.

[00:01:58 --> 00:02:01] As you get closer and closer to the doorway,

[00:03:07 --> 00:03:10] and she didn't want to give it any attention,
[00:03:10 --> 00:03:13] so she kept praying.

[00:03:15 --> 00:03:18] St. Gemma finished her prayer,
[00:03:18 --> 00:03:20] making the sign of the cross.
[00:03:21 --> 00:03:24] Then she blew out her candle (blows air)

[00:03:31 --> 00:03:36] she saw two glowing eyes in the corner of the room.

[00:04:41 --> 00:04:43] and they stared each other down.
[00:04:43 --> 00:04:45] What did she do?
[00:04:45 --> 00:04:49] St. Gemma said, "Be gone!"
[00:04:49 --> 00:04:51] Shoo, get out of here, mutt!
[00:04:51 --> 00:04:54] But the dog did not obey.
[00:04:55 --> 00:05:00] It jumped up and put its paws on her shoulders!
[00:05:01 --> 00:05:03] Maybe he just wanted to play fetch.
[00:05:03 --> 00:05:05] This was not that kind of dog.
[00:05:07 --> 00:05:12] The dog dug its big, sharp claws into St. Gemma's shoulders
[00:05:13 --> 00:05:15] and she screamed in pain. (woman screaming)
[00:05:15 --> 00:05:20] The dog dug its claws even deeper into the skin.
[00:05:20 --> 00:05:21] That would hurt so bad!
[00:05:21 --> 00:05:23] Man, it sure did.
[00:05:23 --> 00:05:28] She said that she felt the pain so much in all of her bones
[00:05:29 --> 00:05:31] that she thought they were all broken.
[00:05:31 --> 00:05:33] Oh, that sounds really bad!
[00:05:33 --> 00:05:37] St. Gemma, she cried out the name of Jesus.
[00:05:38 --> 00:05:42] The dog grew angrier and dug its claws even deeper!
[00:05:44 --> 00:05:47] And then she cried out the name of Jesus again.
[00:05:47 --> 00:05:50] The dog jumped off of her, angrier than ever!
[00:05:50 --> 00:05:52] St. Gemma jumped out of bed
[00:05:52 --> 00:05:54] and darted to the other end of the room.
[00:05:54 --> 00:05:56] Towards the door?
[00:05:56 --> 00:05:58] No, towards the holy water font
[00:05:58 --> 00:06:00] at the other end of the room.
[00:06:00 --> 00:06:05] She knew this wasn't a regular dog from outside.

[00:06:07 --> 00:06:09] I see where this is going.
[00:06:09 --> 00:06:14] As St. Gemma dipped her finger in the holy water,
[00:06:14 --> 00:06:18] she felt a seething pain in her arm.
[00:06:18 --> 00:06:22] She looked down and the dog had her arm in its mouth!
[00:06:22 --> 00:06:25] Oh, no, no, no, oh, no! (dog growling)
[00:06:25 --> 00:06:26] The dog used all of its force
[00:06:26 --> 00:06:31] and wrenched her arm so badly, she fell to the ground
[00:06:31 --> 00:06:35] as her arm flopped lifelessly beside her,
[00:06:35 --> 00:06:36] totally dislocated.
[00:06:36 --> 00:06:39] This is way worse than I though it was gonna be.
[00:06:39 --> 00:06:41] So do you know what St. Gemma did then?
[00:06:41 --> 00:06:43] Call 911?
[00:06:43 --> 00:06:44] No.
[00:06:45 --> 00:06:47] She laughed! (woman laughing)
[00:06:47 --> 00:06:49] What the heck, she laughed?
[00:06:49 --> 00:06:52] This doesn't seem like the time for giggles.

[00:06:53 --> 00:06:57] And that made the dog super-duper angry.
[00:06:57 --> 00:07:00] St. Gemma called the name of Jesus again.
[00:07:00 --> 00:07:04] Suddenly, the dog stopped in its tracks,
[00:07:04 --> 00:07:07] howled, and ran off. (dog howling and whining)
[00:07:07 --> 00:07:11] Gemma looked down as she felt a gentle touch on her arm,
[00:07:12 --> 00:07:15] and she saw that her arm had been healed.
[00:07:15 --> 00:07:16] How'd that happen?
[00:07:16 --> 00:07:20] Jesus healed it for her.
[00:07:20 --> 00:07:22] What happened then?
[00:07:22 --> 00:07:25] Well, we don't have all the details,
[00:07:25 --> 00:07:29] but I assume that St. Gemma said a prayer of Thanksgiving
[00:07:30 --> 00:07:32] and went to sleep.
[00:07:32 --> 00:07:33] Man, rough night.
[00:07:33 --> 00:07:36] You bet it was a rough night.
[00:07:36 --> 00:07:39] But this wasn't out of the ordinary for St. Gemma.
[00:07:39 --> 00:07:42] So she just fought with dogs all the time?
[00:07:42 --> 00:07:44] Well, it wasn't just fighting with a dog,
[00:07:44 --> 00:07:46] but the devil saw that St. Gemma
[00:07:46 --> 00:07:50] was a very pure soul who loved Jesus.
[00:07:50 --> 00:07:54] And there's nothing that the devil hates more than that.
[00:07:54 --> 00:07:58] The devil wanted to take her away from Jesus.
[00:07:58 --> 00:07:59] How rude.
[00:07:59 --> 00:08:01] The devil would constantly lie to her,
[00:08:01 --> 00:08:03] try to scare her,
[00:08:03 --> 00:08:08] do everything to keep her from praying and loving Jesus.
[00:08:08 --> 00:08:09] Did it work?
[00:08:10 --> 00:08:11] Nope!
[00:08:11 --> 00:08:12] Wow.
[00:08:12 --> 00:08:16] St. Gemma knew that the devil was nothing.
[00:08:16 --> 00:08:18] That he had no power over her.
[00:08:18 --> 00:08:21] She just always kept looking to Jesus.
[00:08:21 --> 00:08:23] I'll remember that when I'm scared.

[00:08:27 --> 00:08:30] St. Gemma reminds us of something very, very important.

[00:00:23 --> 00:00:25] there was a girl named Ruth.
[00:00:25 --> 00:00:29] She lived in a place called Moab.
[00:00:29 --> 00:00:32] Ruth often dreamed of the day when she would meet the man
[00:00:32 --> 00:00:34] who would become her husband.
[00:00:34 --> 00:00:36] She wanted very much to get married,
[00:00:36 --> 00:00:38] and to have a family of her own.
[00:00:38 --> 00:00:40] When Ruth was a child,
[00:00:40 --> 00:00:42] it felt like it would be a very long time
[00:00:42 --> 00:00:44] before she could get married.
[00:00:44 --> 00:00:46] But time passed,
[00:00:46 --> 00:00:49] and finally Ruth was old enough to find a husband.
[00:00:49 --> 00:00:53] She didn't know where, or when, she would meet her husband,

[00:01:00 --> 00:01:03] to buy bread for her family to eat.
[00:01:03 --> 00:01:05] While she was at the market looking at
[00:01:05 --> 00:01:08] all of the delicious loaves of bread,
[00:01:08 --> 00:01:10] she saw a man looking to buy bread as well.
[00:01:11 --> 00:01:14] Ruth thought the man was very handsome,
[00:01:14 --> 00:01:16] and wanted to talk to him.
[00:01:16 --> 00:01:19] So Ruth asked the man, "What's your name?"
[00:01:20 --> 00:01:22] The man said his name was Kilion.
[00:01:24 --> 00:01:27] Ruth asked, "What kind of bread are you going to buy?"
[00:01:28 --> 00:01:31] Kilion said, "Whatever they can give me.
[00:01:31 --> 00:01:34] My family and I just moved to Moab
[00:01:34 --> 00:01:36] from a place called Bethlehem.
[00:01:36 --> 00:01:40] The town had a very bad famine and there was no food at all.
[00:01:40 --> 00:01:42] So we came here."
[00:01:43 --> 00:01:47] Ruth felt very badly that Kilion's town had run out of food.
[00:01:47 --> 00:01:51] She offered to have him and his family over for dinner,
[00:01:51 --> 00:01:53] so they could have a proper meal.
[00:01:54 --> 00:01:56] Kilion was very thankful.
[00:01:56 --> 00:01:58] Ruth asked how many children he had.
[00:01:59 --> 00:02:00] Kilion replied,
[00:02:00 --> 00:02:03] "I don't have any children. I'm not married."
[00:02:05 --> 00:02:08] Ruth was very glad to hear that he was not married,
[00:02:08 --> 00:02:12] and said, "But you said you moved here with your family."
[00:02:13 --> 00:02:14] Kilion said,
[00:02:14 --> 00:02:18] "Oh, yes. I moved here with my mother and father."
[00:02:19 --> 00:02:21] He seemed very sad when he said this,
[00:02:21 --> 00:02:24] and Ruth asked him what was wrong.
[00:02:24 --> 00:02:25] Kilion said,
[00:02:25 --> 00:02:30] "Shortly after we arrived in Moab, my father died."
[00:02:30 --> 00:02:32] Ruth was very sad when she heard this,
[00:02:32 --> 00:02:34] and wanted to help Kilion feel better.
[00:02:35 --> 00:02:38] That night, Kilion came to dinner at Ruth's house
[00:02:38 --> 00:02:40] with his mother, Naomi.
[00:02:41 --> 00:02:44] Naomi was very sad about her husband's death.
[00:02:44 --> 00:02:49] So Ruth was very kind to Naomi and gave her lots of comfort.
[00:02:49 --> 00:02:51] Naomi was fond of Ruth,
[00:02:51 --> 00:02:54] and Ruth felt comfortable with Kilion's family.
[00:02:54 --> 00:02:56] Ruth and Kilion knew that night
[00:02:56 --> 00:02:59] that they would be good friends.
[00:02:59 --> 00:03:01] They became such good friends, in fact,
[00:03:01 --> 00:03:05] that they eventually fell in love, and got married.
[00:03:05 --> 00:03:08] Ruth's dream had finally come true.
[00:03:08 --> 00:03:11] Ruth though that she and Kilion would be together
[00:03:11 --> 00:03:13] for the rest of their lives.
[00:03:14 --> 00:03:18] But shortly after they got married, Kilion died.
[00:03:18 --> 00:03:21] Ruth was shocked and sad.
[00:03:21 --> 00:03:23] She felt like she was all alone,
[00:03:23 --> 00:03:26] and didn't know what she would do.
[00:03:26 --> 00:03:29] Naomi was also very sad.
[00:03:29 --> 00:03:32] Now that her husband and her son had died,
[00:03:32 --> 00:03:35] she decided to move back to their previous hometown
[00:03:35 --> 00:03:37] of Bethlehem.
[00:03:37 --> 00:03:39] She had heard that the famine had ended,
[00:03:39 --> 00:03:40] and now there was food to eat.
[00:03:41 --> 00:03:45] Ruth decided to move to Bethlehem with Naomi.
[00:03:45 --> 00:03:47] She did not want to be alone.
[00:03:47 --> 00:03:49] And Naomi was her only family now.
[00:03:50 --> 00:03:54] When Naomi found out that Ruth wanted to move with her,
[00:03:54 --> 00:03:58] she said, "Ruth, you know that I love you,
[00:03:58 --> 00:04:01] but you are still young and deserve to be happy.
[00:04:01 --> 00:04:03] You ought to stay here.
[00:04:03 --> 00:04:07] Someday when you're not so sad, you can find a husband,
[00:04:07 --> 00:04:09] and have a family of your own."
[00:04:09 --> 00:04:14] But Ruth said, "Naomi, please do not tell me to stay behind.
[00:04:14 --> 00:04:19] I want to be with you. Wherever you go, I will go.

[00:04:22 --> 00:04:25] Naomi knew that Ruth had a good heart,
[00:04:25 --> 00:04:29] and that she truly wanted to move to Bethlehem with her.

[00:04:33 --> 00:04:38] So Ruth and Naomi made the long journey back to Bethlehem.

[00:04:40 --> 00:04:43] but they kept each other company along the way.

[00:04:46 --> 00:04:49] Naomi even told Ruth stories about Kilion
[00:04:49 --> 00:04:51] when he was just a little boy.
[00:04:51 --> 00:04:55] And Ruth laughed so hard that her sides hurt.
[00:04:55 --> 00:05:00] It was the first time she had truly laughed in a long time.
[00:05:01 --> 00:05:03] Finally, they arrived in Bethlehem,

[00:05:05 --> 00:05:08] were very happy to see her.

[00:05:13 --> 00:05:18] and told them that both her husband and Kilion had died.

[00:05:53 --> 00:05:55] They didn't have money to buy food.
[00:05:55 --> 00:05:59] But Bethlehem was having a great barley harvest.
[00:05:59 --> 00:06:01] And barley was good for making bread.
[00:06:02 --> 00:06:05] There were many local farmers in the area
[00:06:05 --> 00:06:09] who would send harvesters out very early in the morning
[00:06:09 --> 00:06:12] to retrieve food from the crops.
[00:06:12 --> 00:06:15] Ruth found out that the farmers would let people come
[00:06:15 --> 00:06:17] and take home what was left over
[00:06:17 --> 00:06:18] after the harvesters had finished.
[00:06:20 --> 00:06:24] So the next day, Ruth left first thing in the morning,
[00:06:24 --> 00:06:27] and found the first barley field she could.
[00:06:28 --> 00:06:31] As soon as the harvesters finished, she went onto the field,
[00:06:31 --> 00:06:35] and began to take barley so her and Naomi could make bread.
[00:06:36 --> 00:06:40] Ruth worked very hard all morning collecting barley.
[00:06:40 --> 00:06:44] In the afternoon, the owner of the field came along.
[00:06:44 --> 00:06:45] His name was Bo.
[00:06:46 --> 00:06:50] He noticed Ruth, and asked one of the harvesters,
[00:06:50 --> 00:06:54] "Who is the woman collecting barley from my field?"
[00:06:54 --> 00:06:56] The harvester said, "That's Ruth."
[00:06:56 --> 00:07:00] She just moved here from Moab with Naomi.
[00:07:00 --> 00:07:02] She asked if she could take the leftover barley,
[00:07:02 --> 00:07:05] and she hasn't stopped working since this morning.
[00:07:07 --> 00:07:08] Bo had heard about Ruth,
[00:07:08 --> 00:07:11] and he knew that she had been very kind to Naomi.
[00:07:13 --> 00:07:17] Bo wanted to talk to her, so he started walking towards her.
[00:07:17 --> 00:07:21] At first, Ruth though she might be in trouble,
[00:07:21 --> 00:07:25] but Bo greeted her with a big warm smile.
[00:07:25 --> 00:07:28] He said, "You must be Ruth."

[00:07:59 --> 00:08:02] and how kind you have been to Naomi.
[00:08:02 --> 00:08:04] I know her very well.
[00:08:04 --> 00:08:05] You have a good heart,
[00:08:05 --> 00:08:08] and I want to make sure that you are taken care of."
[00:08:09 --> 00:08:12] Ruth was very moved by Bo's kindness
[00:08:12 --> 00:08:13] and thanked him from her heart.
[00:08:14 --> 00:08:17] Bo invited Ruth inside to have lunch.
[00:08:17 --> 00:08:21] She was very hungry, and she followed him inside,
[00:08:21 --> 00:08:24] where they had a big meal together.

[00:08:41 --> 00:08:44] As she worked, she though about Bo.
[00:08:44 --> 00:08:48] She though he was very nice and she wanted to see him again.
[00:08:50 --> 00:08:54] That night, Ruth took the barley back to Naomi.
[00:08:54 --> 00:08:57] She was amazed at how much she had collected.
[00:08:57 --> 00:09:01] Naomi asked, "Where did you get all of this?"
[00:09:01 --> 00:09:04] Ruth told Naomi that she had been working in the field
[00:09:04 --> 00:09:06] of a man named Bo.
[00:09:06 --> 00:09:10] And Naomi interrupted her and said, "I know Bo."
[00:09:10 --> 00:09:11] Ruth said,
[00:09:11 --> 00:09:16] "He was very kind to me. I really enjoyed meeting him."
[00:09:16 --> 00:09:20] Naomi said to Ruth, "Bo is a very good man.
[00:09:20 --> 00:09:23] You know, he would make a good husband.

[00:09:25 --> 00:09:28] and he would be very happy to know that you're with Bo."

[00:00:14 --> 00:00:19] He stared at the image of Jesus, pierced, bleeding,

[00:00:22 --> 00:00:26] Francis looked down at his own hands, dry, healthy,
[00:00:26 --> 00:00:30] the hands which he had employed in so many sins.

[00:05:01 --> 00:05:03] "Money," said Francesco.

[00:08:15 --> 00:08:18] very short and thin, with a tear rolling down his cheek.

[00:08:56 --> 00:08:59] "Don't pay any attention to him," yelled Pietro
[00:08:59 --> 00:09:02] as he stormed off, kicking his son's clothes in the dirt.
[00:09:04 --> 00:09:09] For the first time ever, Francesco truly felt free.
[00:09:09 --> 00:09:12] He looked up to heaven, threw his arms in the air,
[00:09:12 --> 00:09:15] and basked in the glory of God.
[00:09:15 --> 00:09:19] "Father, you are enough," he yelled.
[00:09:19 --> 00:09:20] As Francesco walked through the woods,
[00:09:20 --> 00:09:23] he looked down at the stones beneath his feet.
[00:09:24 --> 00:09:25] "Hmm."
[00:09:25 --> 00:09:27] He picked one up.
[00:09:27 --> 00:09:30] He examined the stone from every angle.
[00:09:30 --> 00:09:32] He picked up another and another and another.
[00:09:33 --> 00:09:36] Just as he was about to walk off with his stones,
[00:09:36 --> 00:09:37] he heard a voice behind him.
[00:09:37 --> 00:09:41] "Well, well, well, if it isn't Francesco."
[00:09:41 --> 00:09:45] Francesco turned and saw a group of three men.
[00:09:45 --> 00:09:46] He had seen these guys before
[00:09:46 --> 00:09:49] and knew they were up to no good.
[00:09:49 --> 00:09:51] "Gentlemen," he said as he nodded
[00:09:51 --> 00:09:53] and began to walk past them.
[00:09:53 --> 00:09:56] "What happened to his clothes," teased one of the men.
[00:09:57 --> 00:10:01] As Francesco passed by, one of the men stuck his foot out.
[00:10:01 --> 00:10:04] Francesco tripped and thudded to the ground.
[00:10:04 --> 00:10:06] "Get him," yelled the men,
[00:10:06 --> 00:10:09] as they hit him and punched him and kicked him.
[00:10:11 --> 00:10:14] They picked up Francesco and threw him in the snowbank.
[00:10:15 --> 00:10:19] The men ran away, leaving Francesco in the chilly snowbank.
[00:10:19 --> 00:10:22] But Francesco began to sing.
[00:10:22 --> 00:10:23] ♪ Ah ♪
[00:10:23 --> 00:10:24] Francesco pulled himself
[00:10:24 --> 00:10:26] out of the chilly snow.
[00:10:26 --> 00:10:30] "Cold and chill, bless the Lord," he exclaimed,
[00:10:30 --> 00:10:32] as he continued his song.
[00:10:32 --> 00:10:34] He walked through the snowy woods,
[00:10:34 --> 00:10:38] sticks crackling beneath his feet, singing all the while.
[00:10:38 --> 00:10:40] He kept his eyes on the ground,
[00:10:40 --> 00:10:42] searching for big round stones.
[00:10:44 --> 00:10:45] After collecting his stones,
[00:10:45 --> 00:10:49] Francesco sang his way back into the city of Assisi.
[00:10:49 --> 00:10:53] He heard a child say, "Mommy, why is that man singing
[00:10:53 --> 00:10:54] with no clothes on?"
[00:10:55 --> 00:11:00] He kept on singing, heading back up the winding road.

[00:11:01 --> 00:11:04] he entered a small storefront.

[00:11:13 --> 00:11:16] "Everything," said Francesco, "For God."

[00:11:17 --> 00:11:19] "Could I take a hammer, some nails,
[00:11:19 --> 00:11:22] and a few other building materials."
[00:11:22 --> 00:11:25] "What are you going to do with it," asked the shopkeeper.
[00:11:25 --> 00:11:29] "San Damiano, the church, I'm going to fix it."
[00:11:29 --> 00:11:33] "Well, I guess I can't say no to that," said the shopkeeper
[00:11:33 --> 00:11:36] as he packed a basket full of building materials
[00:11:36 --> 00:11:38] and gave it to Francesco.
[00:11:38 --> 00:11:41] Francesco looked down at his pile of stones.
[00:11:41 --> 00:11:43] "I don't want to ask too much,
[00:11:43 --> 00:11:46] but do you have extra stones as well?"
[00:11:46 --> 00:11:48] "Sure," said the shopkeeper,
[00:11:48 --> 00:11:50] "I'll have some of my workers deliver it to you

[00:02:46 --> 00:02:48] and held them tight so that they could adjust.
[00:02:49 --> 00:02:52] When she opened her eyes, she could see only the figure
[00:02:52 --> 00:02:53] of items in her room
[00:02:54 --> 00:02:57] and she began to feel around for her nightstand drawer.
[00:02:57 --> 00:03:00] She felt the drawer opened it
[00:03:00 --> 00:03:02] and pulled out a container of matches.

[00:03:26 --> 00:03:28] and she wanted to stay there forever.
[00:03:30 --> 00:03:33] She didn't know how long it had been when she heard a
[00:03:33 --> 00:03:34] knock on her door.
[00:03:36 --> 00:03:39] She slowly stood up, walked to the door and opened it.
[00:03:39 --> 00:03:42] Sister Mary Catherine was on the other side.
[00:03:42 --> 00:03:44] Sister Margaret Mary.
[00:03:44 --> 00:03:47] She said, are you all right, sister Margaret?

[00:07:58 --> 00:08:01] and remembered all of the times she encountered Jesus.
[00:08:01 --> 00:08:04] Since she was a little girl,
[00:08:04 --> 00:08:06] she felt tears well up in her eyes
[00:08:06 --> 00:08:07] as she pondered the thought
[00:08:07 --> 00:08:10] that other people did not have the joy of seeing
[00:08:10 --> 00:08:11] and hearing Jesus.
[00:08:13 --> 00:08:16] She arrived at the chapel door and stopped.

[00:16:02 --> 00:16:05] Well, let's meet them and learn more Jews.
[00:16:08 --> 00:16:12] First, we have Jesus. Jesus is the son of God.
[00:16:12 --> 00:16:15] He came to earth to teach us about God's love
[00:16:15 --> 00:16:17] and to save us from our sins.
[00:16:18 --> 00:16:21] He grew up a lot like you and me learning and playing,
[00:16:21 --> 00:16:24] but he was special and he had a very special mission.
[00:16:25 --> 00:16:28] He taught everyone about God's kingdom
[00:16:28 --> 00:16:30] and died for our sins.
[00:16:34 --> 00:16:37] Next we have Mary. Mary is Jesus' mother.
[00:16:39 --> 00:16:42] She was chosen by God to be the mother of his son
[00:16:42 --> 00:16:44] because she was full of grace
[00:16:44 --> 00:16:46] and always trusted in God's plan.
[00:16:51 --> 00:16:54] She loved Jesus very much and took care of him.
[00:17:50 --> 00:17:54] And then there's Joseph. Joseph was a carpenter.
[00:17:54 --> 00:17:56] He built furniture and other things out of wood.
[00:18:06 --> 00:18:09] He protected and provided for Jesus and Mary.
[00:18:11 --> 00:18:15] He always listened to God's messages and did what was right.
[00:19:23 --> 00:19:25] You will also notice that Jesus, Mary,
[00:19:25 --> 00:19:29] and Joseph have very interesting hearts.
[00:19:29 --> 00:19:32] The three hearts of the Holy family are the sacred heart
[00:19:32 --> 00:19:35] of Jesus, the immaculate heart of Mary
[00:19:35 --> 00:19:37] and the chaste heart of St.
[00:19:37 --> 00:19:40] Joseph. Each heart has its own special meaning.
[00:19:42 --> 00:19:45] The sacred heart of Jesus has a flame to show
[00:19:45 --> 00:19:47] how Jesus's love burns for us.
[00:19:54 --> 00:19:56] It also has a crown of thorns
[00:19:56 --> 00:20:01] and a wound in its side that reminds us
[00:20:01 --> 00:20:03] of Jesus dying on the cross for us.
[00:20:03 --> 00:20:07] It reminds us how badly our sin hurts Jesus' heart,
[00:20:10 --> 00:20:12] but Jesus loves us so much.
[00:20:12 --> 00:20:15] He was willing to sacrifice his own life to save us.
[00:20:19 --> 00:20:21] The immaculate heart of Mary is shown
[00:20:21 --> 00:20:24] with a sword piercing the heart and surrounded by roses.
[00:20:29 --> 00:20:30] This heart shows us
[00:20:30 --> 00:20:35] how much pain Mary felt seeing her son Jesus be crucified.
[00:20:40 --> 00:20:44] It also symbolizes her purity and love for God.
[00:20:44 --> 00:20:48] Her yes to God's will and the mission of Jesus.
[00:21:03 --> 00:21:07] The third heart is the most chased heart of St. Joseph.
[00:21:10 --> 00:21:12] His heart is shown with lilies around it,
[00:21:12 --> 00:21:16] representing his chastity as the earthly father of Jesus.
[00:21:24 --> 00:21:27] Joseph loved and protected his family with all of his heart.
[00:21:29 --> 00:21:32] Sometimes his heart is also shown with carpenter tools
[00:21:32 --> 00:21:35] to remind us how hard he worked for his family.
[00:21:42 --> 00:21:45] The hearts of the Holy family are so cool.
[00:21:45 --> 00:21:47] They really show us how much Jesus, Mary
[00:21:47 --> 00:21:51] and Joseph loved each other, loved God and love us.
[00:23:44 --> 00:23:46] Remember when the angel Gabriel came to Mary
[00:23:46 --> 00:23:51] and told her God wanted her to be the mother of Jesus?
[00:23:51 --> 00:23:54] Mary was probably so scared, but she said yes
[00:23:54 --> 00:23:57] because she trusted God with all of her heart.
[00:23:58 --> 00:24:02] Joseph was freaked out when he found out about Mary having a
[00:24:02 --> 00:24:04] baby from God.
[00:24:04 --> 00:24:06] What would other people around town think?
[00:24:06 --> 00:24:10] They'll probably think I'm crazy. I don't wanna do this,
[00:24:16 --> 00:24:18] but God sent an angel to Joseph.
[00:24:21 --> 00:24:24] Joseph, you don't have to worry so much.
[00:24:24 --> 00:24:29] God will be with you. You will be a wonderful dad to Jesus.

[00:26:53 --> 00:26:57] Mercy is when you have power, but you use it for good.

[00:26:59 --> 00:27:01] because even though we do bad stuff,
[00:27:01 --> 00:27:03] he forgives us and loves us.

[00:33:08 --> 00:33:12] Sacraments are special gifts from God.

[00:33:14 --> 00:33:18] or real life thing that we can see or touch or hear.
[00:33:18 --> 00:33:20] Confession is when you tell your sins
[00:33:20 --> 00:33:24] to a priest in the sacrament of confession, you hear
[00:33:24 --> 00:33:27] through the priest the words of Jesus forgiving you.
[00:33:28 --> 00:33:31] Ignoring our sins doesn't make them go away,
[00:33:31 --> 00:33:35] so just like you go to the doctor to heal when you're sick
[00:33:35 --> 00:33:40] or break a bone, going to confession heals us of our sins.
[00:33:40 --> 00:33:43] Jesus gave priests that special job of helping us.
[00:33:44 --> 00:33:46] Do you know what sin is?
[00:33:47 --> 00:33:49] Sin is when we do something that is wrong
[00:33:49 --> 00:33:51] and makes you turn away from God.
[00:33:51 --> 00:33:56] Hmm. God wants
[00:33:56 --> 00:33:58] to be our friend and when we do bad things,
[00:33:58 --> 00:34:00] it hurts our friendship.
[00:34:01 --> 00:34:04] So when you go to confession, it's like telling your friend
[00:34:04 --> 00:34:07] that you're really sorry and then you can be friends again
[00:34:07 --> 00:34:10] and the best part, God will always forgive you.

[00:34:17 --> 00:34:20] Pray to the Holy Spirit and ask for help.

[00:34:55 --> 00:34:58] Nothing is too big or too small to say.
[00:35:05 --> 00:35:08] When you walk into the confessional, make the sign
[00:35:08 --> 00:35:12] of the cross in the name of the Father and the Son
[00:35:12 --> 00:35:13] and the Holy Spirit.
[00:35:14 --> 00:35:17] Then tell the priest your sins. Be honest.
[00:35:18 --> 00:35:22] Feel free to tell him why you did them if you need to,
[00:35:22 --> 00:35:23] it might feel like the priest is going
[00:35:23 --> 00:35:26] to be upset at you, but he won't.
[00:35:26 --> 00:35:28] He won't judge you and he won't tell anyone.
[00:35:28 --> 00:35:32] He's not allowed to. He has to keep it a secret forever.

[00:43:23 --> 00:43:27] The most famous of the hearts is a sacred heart of Jesus.
[00:43:27 --> 00:43:29] It's a symbol of Jesus's amazing love
[00:43:29 --> 00:43:31] and mercy for all of us.
[00:43:32 --> 00:43:36] Mercy means that even when we mess up, Jesus forgives us
[00:43:36 --> 00:43:38] and still loves us so much.
[00:43:40 --> 00:43:42] The sacred heart of Jesus is shown
[00:43:42 --> 00:43:44] with flames coming from it to show
[00:43:44 --> 00:43:46] how his love burns for us.
[00:43:49 --> 00:43:51] It also has thorns around it.
[00:43:51 --> 00:43:53] Can you guess what that reminds us of?

[00:43:58 --> 00:44:00] that Jesus wore when he died for us,

[00:44:46 --> 00:44:49] Next is the immaculate heart of Mary.
[00:44:49 --> 00:44:52] This heart shows how much Mary loves Jesus
[00:44:52 --> 00:44:54] and how much she loves all of us too.
[00:44:56 --> 00:45:00] Mary's immaculate heart is also on fire with love.
[00:45:00 --> 00:45:02] It's also depicted with roses
[00:45:02 --> 00:45:04] or other flowers wrapped around it.

[00:45:07 --> 00:45:10] There's a sword piercing through the heart.
[00:45:10 --> 00:45:14] That's because when she saw Jesus being tortured and hit

[00:45:16 --> 00:45:19] it felt like a sword going right into her heart.

[00:45:24 --> 00:45:25] how much she loves her family
[00:45:25 --> 00:45:29] and how even though things can be hard sometimes God's love

[00:01:36 --> 00:01:38] She had no thoughts or words,
[00:01:38 --> 00:01:41] but lost herself in a gaze of love.
[00:01:41 --> 00:01:43] She heard a door behind her
[00:01:43 --> 00:01:44] creak open, (door creaking)
[00:01:44 --> 00:01:45] but she couldn't bring herself
[00:01:45 --> 00:01:47] to look away from the tabernacle.
[00:01:48 --> 00:01:50] Though she could hear the clamor
[00:01:50 --> 00:01:54] of somebody entering the chapel and sitting down,
[00:01:54 --> 00:01:56] she was not taken from her gaze.
[00:01:57 --> 00:02:00] After a long time, she quietly stood up.
[00:02:00 --> 00:02:02] genuflected to the tabernacle,
[00:02:02 --> 00:02:04] and walked to the back of the chapel
[00:02:04 --> 00:02:06] and out the door. (door creaking)
[00:02:06 --> 00:02:07] She turned right
[00:02:07 --> 00:02:10] and walked down a long dark hallway towards her cell.
[00:02:10 --> 00:02:14] She passed two of her fellow sisters, and they waved to her,
[00:02:14 --> 00:02:17] but she did not even perceive them;
[00:02:17 --> 00:02:20] her heart was still in the chapel with Jesus.
[00:02:20 --> 00:02:23] She approached her cell, opened the door,
[00:02:23 --> 00:02:24] and entered. (door creaking and thudding)
[00:02:24 --> 00:02:26] The room was dark,
[00:02:26 --> 00:02:28] she closed her eyes and held them tight,
[00:02:28 --> 00:02:30] so that they could adjust.
[00:02:30 --> 00:02:31] When she opened her eyes,
[00:02:31 --> 00:02:35] she could see only the figure of items in her room,
[00:02:35 --> 00:02:38] and she began to feel around for her nightstand drawer.
[00:02:38 --> 00:02:40] She felt the drawer, opened it,
[00:02:40 --> 00:02:43] and pulled out a container of matches.
[00:02:43 --> 00:02:46] She struck one of the matches and lit her candle,
[00:02:46 --> 00:02:50] the room was illuminated with soft, warm light,
[00:02:50 --> 00:02:52] and she could see her shadow on the wall.
[00:02:52 --> 00:02:54] She saw the paper and pencil
[00:02:54 --> 00:02:58] she had been drawing with before, still sitting on her bed,

[00:03:04 --> 00:03:07] She felt like she was still leaning against Jesus's heart,
[00:03:07 --> 00:03:09] and she wanted to stay there forever.

[00:03:11 --> 00:03:13] She didn't know how long it had been,
[00:03:13 --> 00:03:15] when she heard a knock on her door.

[00:03:17 --> 00:03:20] She slowly stood up, walked to the door, and opened it.

[00:03:20 --> 00:03:23] Sister Mary Catherine was on the other side.
[00:03:23 --> 00:03:25] "Sister Margaret Mary?", she said,
[00:03:25 --> 00:03:27] "Are you all right?"
[00:03:27 --> 00:03:31] Sister Margaret Mary found it difficult to speak,
[00:03:31 --> 00:03:32] she stuttered a bit.
[00:03:32 --> 00:03:36] Sister Mary Catherine looked at her with concern.
[00:03:36 --> 00:03:38] Finally, she was able to utter,
[00:03:38 --> 00:03:40] "Yes, I'm fine."
[00:03:41 --> 00:03:43] Sister Mary Catherine responded,
[00:03:43 --> 00:03:45] "I was knocking on your door
[00:03:45 --> 00:03:47] for probably two whole minutes."
[00:03:48 --> 00:03:50] "You were?", asked Sister Margaret Mary.
[00:03:51 --> 00:03:54] "Yes," said Sister Mary Catherine,
[00:03:54 --> 00:03:56] who looked at Sister Margaret Mary
[00:03:56 --> 00:03:59] with a bit of suspicion in her eye.
[00:03:59 --> 00:04:01] "Talk to me, Sister Margaret Mary,
[00:04:01 --> 00:04:03] you don't seem yourself."
[00:04:04 --> 00:04:07] Sister Margaret Mary sat back down on her chair
[00:04:07 --> 00:04:11] as she welcomed Sister Mary Catherine into her room,
[00:04:11 --> 00:04:13] motioning for her to sit down.
[00:04:13 --> 00:04:16] Sister Mary Catherine sat down on the foot of the small bed.
[00:04:17 --> 00:04:19] Sister Margaret Mary looked blankly
[00:04:19 --> 00:04:21] to the side for a long moment;
[00:04:21 --> 00:04:25] finally, she said, "I don't know what to say."
[00:04:25 --> 00:04:27] Sister Mary Catherine asked,
[00:04:27 --> 00:04:28] "What do you mean?"
[00:04:29 --> 00:04:34] Sister Margaret Mary said, "He's given us His whole heart."
[00:04:34 --> 00:04:37] Sister Mary Catherine looked confused, she asked, "Who?"
[00:04:38 --> 00:04:41] Sister Margaret Mary said, "Him."
[00:04:41 --> 00:04:43] "Jesus?"
[00:04:43 --> 00:04:44] "Yes.
[00:04:44 --> 00:04:48] Tonight, He let me lean upon His heart
[00:04:48 --> 00:04:49] and listen to it beat."
[00:04:50 --> 00:04:51] There was a long pause.
[00:04:52 --> 00:04:55] Sister Mary Catherine looked around the room,
[00:04:55 --> 00:04:57] wondering what she might mean.
[00:04:57 --> 00:05:00] She asked, "In what way?"
[00:05:00 --> 00:05:02] Sister Margaret Mary responded,
[00:05:02 --> 00:05:04] "Just like I said, He came to me
[00:05:04 --> 00:05:07] and allowed me to listen to His heart."
[00:05:08 --> 00:05:10] Sister Mary Catherine raised her eyebrows,
[00:05:10 --> 00:05:13] "Was He there physically?"
[00:05:13 --> 00:05:16] "What do you mean?", asked Sister Margaret Mary,
[00:05:16 --> 00:05:18] "Of course He was."
[00:05:18 --> 00:05:22] Sister Mary Catherine leaned in towards Sister Margaret Mary
[00:05:22 --> 00:05:25] and rested her chin on her hands.
[00:05:25 --> 00:05:27] "Sister," she said,
[00:05:27 --> 00:05:29] "Has this happened before?"
[00:05:29 --> 00:05:33] Sister Margaret Mary leaned back, "Of course.
[00:05:33 --> 00:05:35] Doesn't He come to you as well?"
[00:05:35 --> 00:05:37] Sister Mary Catherine said,
[00:05:37 --> 00:05:40] "You must talk with Mother Superior about this;
[00:05:40 --> 00:05:43] this is highly unusual."
[00:05:43 --> 00:05:44] Sister Margaret Mary
[00:05:44 --> 00:05:47] stared at Sister Mary Catherine with wide eyes,
[00:05:47 --> 00:05:49] as if she was going to cry.
[00:05:49 --> 00:05:53] Sister Mary Catherine asked, "Are you all right?"
[00:05:53 --> 00:05:56] Sister Margaret Mary took a long pause to compose herself
[00:05:56 --> 00:06:01] and then said, "He loves us and wants us to love Him."
[00:06:02 --> 00:06:06] Sister Mary Catherine said, "Of course, He does."
[00:06:06 --> 00:06:08] Sister Margaret Mary nodded her head and said,
[00:06:08 --> 00:06:11] "He told me exactly what He wants though."
[00:06:12 --> 00:06:14] "And what does He want?,"
[00:06:14 --> 00:06:15] asked Sister Mary Catherine.
[00:06:15 --> 00:06:18] Sister Margaret Mary said,
[00:06:18 --> 00:06:20] "He wants a special feast day
[00:06:20 --> 00:06:23] in celebration of His sacred heart."
[00:06:23 --> 00:06:26] Sister Mary Catherine nodded her head,
[00:06:26 --> 00:06:29] but looked confused as Sister Margaret Mary continued,
[00:06:29 --> 00:06:33] "And He wants us to receive Him in Holy Communion
[00:06:33 --> 00:06:35] on the first Friday of every month;
[00:06:35 --> 00:06:38] He wants everyone to do this."
[00:06:38 --> 00:06:42] Sister Mary Catherine stood up and paced around the room,
[00:06:42 --> 00:06:44] she put her index finger over her lips
[00:06:44 --> 00:06:46] as she grew deeper in thought.
[00:06:46 --> 00:06:49] She said, "Sister Margaret Mary,
[00:06:49 --> 00:06:51] I don't know whether what you're experiencing
[00:06:51 --> 00:06:52] is authentic or not,
[00:06:52 --> 00:06:55] I think you need to talk to Mother Superior

[00:07:20 --> 00:07:22] about this beautiful image.
[00:07:22 --> 00:07:26] She gazed up at the clock hanging on her wall and gasped.
[00:07:26 --> 00:07:30] She popped out of her chair, left her room,
[00:07:30 --> 00:07:33] and headed back down to the hallway for the chapel.
[00:07:33 --> 00:07:34] (footsteps thumping)
[00:07:34 --> 00:07:36] As she walked towards the chapel,
[00:07:36 --> 00:07:39] she reflected on her conversation with Sister Mary Catherine
[00:07:39 --> 00:07:42] and remembered all of the times she encountered Jesus
[00:07:42 --> 00:07:45] since she was a little girl.
[00:07:45 --> 00:07:47] She felt tears well up in her eyes
[00:07:47 --> 00:07:48] as she pondered the thought
[00:07:48 --> 00:07:50] that other people did not have the joy
[00:07:50 --> 00:07:52] of seeing and hearing Jesus.
[00:07:54 --> 00:07:57] She arrived at the chapel door and stopped.
[00:07:57 --> 00:08:02] She closed her eyes and slowly breathed in and out.
[00:08:02 --> 00:08:03] She opened the door
[00:08:03 --> 00:08:05] and was flooded with the warmth
[00:08:05 --> 00:08:07] of the chapel's subtle beauty, (door creaking)
[00:08:07 --> 00:08:09] led only by the sanctuary lamp
[00:08:09 --> 00:08:11] burning next to the tabernacle.
[00:08:11 --> 00:08:14] She fell prostrate and said in a whisper,
[00:08:14 --> 00:08:17] "Jesus, on this Thursday evening,
[00:08:17 --> 00:08:19] I want to be with You in your agony
[00:08:19 --> 00:08:21] at the Garden of Gethsemane,
[00:08:21 --> 00:08:22] just as you have instructed me."
[00:08:24 --> 00:08:26] She pushed herself up until she was kneeling,
[00:08:26 --> 00:08:30] she leaned back and rested on the heels of her feet
[00:08:30 --> 00:08:32] and gazed at Jesus in the tabernacle.
[00:08:32 --> 00:08:37] (fire crackling) (ethereal orchestral music)
[00:08:38 --> 00:08:42] "Sister Margaret, Sister Margaret!", said a voice.
[00:08:43 --> 00:08:46] Sister Margaret Mary opened her eyes,
[00:08:46 --> 00:08:49] Mother Superior was standing over her,
[00:08:49 --> 00:08:51] gently shaking her.
[00:08:51 --> 00:08:55] Sister Margaret Mary blinked and looked around the chapel,
[00:08:55 --> 00:08:58] light poured in through the stained glass windows.
[00:08:58 --> 00:09:01] "Did I fall asleep again?", asked Sister Margaret Mary.
[00:09:01 --> 00:09:04] "You did," said Mother Superior,
[00:09:04 --> 00:09:06] "You need your sleep, Sister Margaret."
[00:09:06 --> 00:09:09] "You're right," said Sister Margaret Mary,
[00:09:09 --> 00:09:11] "I will try to be in bed at a better time."
[00:09:13 --> 00:09:16] Mother Superior hesitantly sighed,
[00:09:16 --> 00:09:20] "Sister Margaret," she said, "I need to speak with you.
[00:09:20 --> 00:09:20] Come with me."
[00:09:21 --> 00:09:24] Mother Superior put her arm around Sister Margaret Mary
[00:09:24 --> 00:09:26] and walked her out of the chapel,
[00:09:26 --> 00:09:28] (door creaking) down the hallway,
[00:09:28 --> 00:09:30] and into her private office.
[00:09:30 --> 00:09:31] Sunlight flooded the room,
[00:09:31 --> 00:09:34] and Sister Margaret Mary winced,
[00:09:34 --> 00:09:36] shielding her eyes from the brightness.
[00:09:37 --> 00:09:39] Mother Superior closed the curtains on either side,
[00:09:39 --> 00:09:41] (curtain clacking) and Sister Margaret Mary said,
[00:09:41 --> 00:09:42] "Thank you."
[00:09:43 --> 00:09:46] As Sister Margaret Mary's eyes adjusted,
[00:09:46 --> 00:09:49] she saw that there were five men standing in the room,
[00:09:49 --> 00:09:53] three of whom were priests and the other two scholars.
[00:09:53 --> 00:09:55] She recognized one of the priests,
[00:09:55 --> 00:09:57] Father Claude, who was smiling at her,
[00:09:57 --> 00:10:00] the other men looked very harsh.
[00:10:00 --> 00:10:02] "Please sit," said Mother Superior,
[00:10:02 --> 00:10:05] as she motioned towards a chair near the center of the room.
[00:10:06 --> 00:10:08] Sister slowly approached the chair,
[00:10:08 --> 00:10:11] looking at the men as she timidly sat down.
[00:10:12 --> 00:10:14] "Well," said Mother Superior,
[00:10:14 --> 00:10:18] "I have brought some experts here today."
[00:10:18 --> 00:10:21] Sister Margaret Mary folded her hands to calm her nerves,
[00:10:21 --> 00:10:24] "Experts on what?," she asked.
[00:10:25 --> 00:10:27] One of the scholars stepped forward and said,
[00:10:27 --> 00:10:29] "It has come to our attention
[00:10:29 --> 00:10:33] that you claim to be having visions of our Lord."
[00:10:33 --> 00:10:36] Sister Margaret Mary coiled in on herself,
[00:10:36 --> 00:10:38] "Claim?", she asked.
[00:10:38 --> 00:10:40] The man continued,
[00:10:40 --> 00:10:42] "I must say, it is extremely rare
[00:10:42 --> 00:10:45] that one is gifted with mystical encounters,
[00:10:45 --> 00:10:48] and I don't believe you are the type of person
[00:10:48 --> 00:10:50] who would receive such a gift."
[00:10:52 --> 00:10:53] Sister Margaret Mary swallowed
[00:10:53 --> 00:10:56] in an attempt to hold back her tears,
[00:10:56 --> 00:10:59] but she felt them streaming down her face nonetheless.
[00:11:00 --> 00:11:02] "Well, I..."
[00:11:02 --> 00:11:04] Sister Margaret couldn't even get her words out,
[00:11:04 --> 00:11:08] she was so hurt by what she was hearing.
[00:11:08 --> 00:11:11] Her heart ached, but she silently prayed;
[00:11:11 --> 00:11:15] "I unite my aching heart to yours, Lord."
[00:11:15 --> 00:11:17] The scholar continued,
[00:11:17 --> 00:11:20] "We do not believe these visions to be authentic,
[00:11:20 --> 00:11:23] and we strongly encourage you not to speak to anyone
[00:11:23 --> 00:11:24] of these encounters.
[00:11:24 --> 00:11:27] You are likely experiencing delusions,
[00:11:27 --> 00:11:30] and you ought to consider eating more.
[00:11:30 --> 00:11:31] If you fast too much,
[00:11:31 --> 00:11:35] you may start to see things that aren't there."
[00:11:35 --> 00:11:37] Sister Margaret Mary said through her tears,
[00:11:37 --> 00:11:41] "Jesus wants us all to hear what He's telling me."
[00:11:42 --> 00:11:44] The scholar harshly said,
[00:11:44 --> 00:11:47] "I don't think you're understanding."
[00:11:47 --> 00:11:51] Father Claude stepped forward and interrupted the scholar;
[00:11:51 --> 00:11:54] "Pardon me, but you're being too harsh with the Sister."
[00:11:54 --> 00:11:57] He extended his hand to Sister Margaret Mary and said,
[00:11:57 --> 00:11:59] "Good to see you, Sister."
[00:11:59 --> 00:12:03] Sister Margaret Mary timidly extended her hand and said,

[00:12:05 --> 00:12:06] Father Claude asked,

[00:12:40 --> 00:12:43] She has all the makings of a mystic,
[00:12:43 --> 00:12:47] and her visions are all in alignment with the Heart of God."
[00:12:47 --> 00:12:50] The other men rolled their eyes and scoffed,
[00:12:50 --> 00:12:53] but Father Claude continued smiling.
[00:12:53 --> 00:12:56] "Where is she?," asked Mother Superior.
[00:12:56 --> 00:12:59] "She's in the chapel, praying," said Father Claude;
[00:12:59 --> 00:13:04] he continued, "Mother Superior, may I have a word with you?"
[00:13:04 --> 00:13:06] Mother Superior nodded her head
[00:13:06 --> 00:13:08] and stepped out of the office with Father Claude.
[00:13:08 --> 00:13:11] (door creaking and clacking) (solemn orchestral music)
[00:13:11 --> 00:13:13] "Mother Superior," he said,
[00:13:13 --> 00:13:17] "I believe this young Sister to be a very special case.
[00:13:17 --> 00:13:18] Cherish her;
[00:13:18 --> 00:13:21] it is a gift to have a delicate soul like this
[00:13:21 --> 00:13:23] in your care.
[00:13:23 --> 00:13:26] I believe that the encounters she's having with our Lord
[00:13:26 --> 00:13:29] should be listened to and given time,
[00:13:29 --> 00:13:31] even taken to our Holy Father, the Pope."
[00:13:32 --> 00:13:35] Mother Superior's eyes grew wide.
[00:13:35 --> 00:13:36] Father Claude said,
[00:13:36 --> 00:13:40] "It is, of course, up to your discernment,
[00:13:40 --> 00:13:43] but I think she would make an excellent Superior one day."
[00:13:44 --> 00:13:46] Mother Superior was surprised
[00:13:46 --> 00:13:49] and had a hard time gathering her thoughts,
[00:13:49 --> 00:13:51] but she was able to muster up the words,
[00:13:51 --> 00:13:53] "Well, thank you, Father."
[00:13:53 --> 00:13:54] Father Claude smiled
[00:13:54 --> 00:13:59] and gently squeezed Mother superior's hand in affection;
[00:13:59 --> 00:14:01] Mother Superior let out a deep sigh.
[00:14:01 --> 00:14:04] She walked on the hallway to the chapel,
[00:14:04 --> 00:14:06] opened the door, and peeked inside
[00:14:06 --> 00:14:09] to look at Sister Margaret Mary praying.
[00:14:09 --> 00:14:11] She saw in this young woman
[00:14:11 --> 00:14:14] a level of peace she had never encountered before.
[00:14:15 --> 00:14:17] Mother Superior's eyes
[00:14:17 --> 00:14:22] followed the gaze of Sister Margaret Mary to the tabernacle,
[00:14:22 --> 00:14:24] and she became entranced
[00:14:24 --> 00:14:28] as she pondered all that Father Claude had said.
[00:14:31 --> 00:14:35] Whoa, that heart isn't just beautiful, it's a message.
[00:14:35 --> 00:14:39] Jesus' Sacred Heart shows us how much He loves us;
[00:14:39 --> 00:14:42] His heart is on fire with love,
[00:14:42 --> 00:14:44] wrapped in thorns because He suffered for us,
[00:14:44 --> 00:14:46] and topped with a cross
[00:14:46 --> 00:14:49] because He gave everything to bring us close.
[00:14:49 --> 00:14:50] So when you see the Sacred Heart,
[00:14:50 --> 00:14:54] remember, Jesus loves you with His whole heart.
